Why are there Index errors in your data?
LandAm Title Search is not a a hand-posted data system. The data that is indexed by our system is received daily or weekly from each Clerk of Court and is a representation of what is indexed by the Clerk's office during their specific recording processes.
If you find an error in the on-line system, please following the instructions below:
How do I send in data corrections?
When you find an error in the Clerk's index data, please send an email to: support@LandAmSearch.com">
Please include the following information:
  • What County
  • What Book/Page or Clerk's File ID
  • What field is in Error (Book/Page, Date, Legal, …)
  • What is the correction to the field data: It is best to tell us what we have now and what it should be changed too.
    What if I find and error in your program (not a data error)?
    If you find something in our on-line search system that does not seem to work right, please email us at: support@LandAmSearch.com">
    Please include the following information:
  • What Company and Username are you logged in as.
  • What County are you searching in.
  • What area of the site are you in (Name Search, Legal Search, Image download, …)
  • What error are you receiving?
  • What search terms (Name, Book/Page) and Filters are you using.
  • Please give us enough information so we can exactly recreate your scenario.
    How do I save my Username & Password on your Login page?
    The latest versions of Internet Explorer and Netscape can save your User name & Passwords.

  • In Internet Explorer: go to: Tools - Internet Options - Content - Auto Complete
    - Check: User names and passwords on Forms
    - Check: Prompt me to save passwords
    After you turn on the above option, the next time you login, IE will prompt you to "Save password?". From then on, every time you hit our login page, all you need to do is type the first letter of your user name and then select your user name from the drop-down list that appears. The password will automatically fill-in. (note: You can also "double-click" in the Username field to see the list of previously entered user names)

  • In Netscape: go to: Edit - Preferences - Privacy & Security - Passwords
    - Check: Remember passwords
    After you turn on the above option, the next time you login, Netscape will prompt you to "Remember password?". After that point, Netscape will automatically fill-in your user name and password every time you hit our login page.
